Rías Gallegas was opened in October 1969, in Matemático Marzal street. It was a big challenge, because real Galician cuisine was not known about in Valencia. It involved years of a great deal of work, effort and enthusiasm. The clientele, who are highly-qualified in gastronomic matters, have never failed us, but in 1996, due to the huge rise in rents, we had to think of an alternative. The problem was finding premises to buy, in an area of the city that was good enough for Rías Gallegas and large enough to give our customers the best service and allow us to work easily in the kitchen, because a restaurant starts with the cookers. After much investigation and many business procedures, we bought our present ground floor premises in Cirilo Amorós street.

This is your home for whatever you want, and it is also the home of Concha, Alfredo, Emilio, Alberto, Mari Luz, the family and numerous friends who come both to eat and to greet us. A restaurant is always a home, so our efforts are concentrated on every sense of the service we provide for our diners. And from day to day we try tro make the turbot or the octopus "a feira" like a piece of our own heart.

In this restaurant we only offer top quality products, and we handle it as little as possible. Nowadays our products, processes and their systematisation all have the ISO 9000 Quality Certificate.
